She is a mother of two teenagers, a keen adventurer and skier and really loves her waders.

Gemma has been a portrait photographer working in and around Salisbury since 2010. In that time she has had the pleasure of meeting and photographing many of Salisbury's families in different stages of their lives, right through from bumps, . newborns, crawlers, walkers, to siblings, grandparents, pets and everywhere in between. It is a great privilege to be asked back year after year to document these growing families and create portraits for future generations to enjoy.

Professionally she has achieved a Licentiateship with the Master Photographer's Association, and has also achieved several accolades for her work:

2019 Child Portraiture, Professional Photo Photographer of the Year Award
2018 Master Photographers Association Shortlist - Children
2018 Wiltshire Life Arts & Culture Runner-Up
2015 Wiltshire Life Photographer of the Year
2013/14 Master Photographers Association 'David Mathias Portrait Award' Winner
2013 Women Inspiring Women 'Inspirational Woman' Award Winner

Gemma is passionate about giving back to the community which has given her so much. She runs a charitable venture offering sensitive portraiture to ladies who have undergone breast cancer treatment, photographed a firefighter's calendar for The Stars Appeal in 2017 (a highlight of her career so far!) and is thrilled to now be able to add to these with the Children of Salisbury project, inspired by an idea originally set up by Richard Bradbury with his Children of London work.
